Research

My primary research interest is in Natural Language Processing field. Currently, my work is focused on exploiting different data modalities present on user-generated content for different affect recognition problems. I work on research problems such as sentiment and deception detection. I also have studied affective and physiological responses to visual narratives, deception, and thermal discomfort.

Recently, I’ve been working on deception detection on multimodal data sources and text classification tasks for clinical data.
